What We Cover
Secure Payments
All payments go through Stripe. Your funds are held safely and released to you after confirmed delivery.
3% Marketplace Fee + Payment Processing
A 1% marketplace fee applies for your first 30 days from your first sale, then 3% standard (2% for Power Sellers). Payment-processing costs are added at cost and vary by payment method.
Shipping Protection
Items shipped with Gearbox labels are protected against loss and damage up to the full item value.
Dispute Mediation
If a buyer opens a dispute, our team reviews all evidence fairly. We never side against sellers without proof.
Secure Messaging
All buyer communication stays on-platform. We can see the full conversation history if a dispute arises.
Seller Ratings
Build your reputation with verified buyer reviews. Strong ratings lead to faster sales and higher prices.
How You Get Paid
Buyer pays at checkout
Payment is captured securely via Stripe.
You ship the item
Print a Gearbox shipping label or use your own carrier.
Item is delivered
Tracking confirms delivery to the buyer.
Funds released to you
For your first sale, funds release within 5 business days of delivery. For repeat sellers, funds are released when the item is in transit.
Seller Responsibilities
- • Item must be accurately described — condition, wear, and modifications must be disclosed.
- • Ship within 3 business days of a confirmed sale.
- • Photos must reflect the actual item being sold.
- • Seller protection does not apply if the listing was fraudulent or misrepresented.
- • Transactions completed outside the platform are not covered.
